Decide who the story is for

A future employee wants to meet the people. A potential client wants to see how you work together. Choose an audience before writing a shot list.

Keep the shot list focused

Consider collaboration, a short interview, a group moment and details of the setting. Capture what fits the experience. Not every good moment needs a camera.

Agree formats and rights in advance

A LinkedIn video, vertical clip and website image have different needs. Include editing, music licences, permissions, usage rights and delivery in the production proposal.

Spread publications over time

Start with a shared story, then feature a team member or an insight, and finish with what the business takes away. A simple schedule helps you use the material consistently.

Plan a month of communication for your company

Share the team film in week one, introduce colleagues in week two and publish short interviews in week three. In week four, use the photographs on your website or careers page. Assign a person to publishing and choose a clear next step for the viewer. Track visits, enquiries and candidate conversations; content alone does not guarantee revenue growth.
